We are here to serve our members. Every department at PITCO FOODS welcomes your questions, comments, and suggestions. Every PITCO FOODS staff member has a name badge and is at your service. Whether it is locating your product, answering your question, or just explaining an item, PITCO FOODS multilingual employees are here to help!

 

Inside the Warehouse at PITCO FOODS

Welcome to PITCO FOODS! Once you’ve entered our warehouse, start shopping with ease. In the event you forget your membership card, please visit our receptionist; with valid personal identification, you will get a temporary shopping pass. We have clearly posted product lists for each aisle. The PITCO FOODS staff is always nearby to help you every step of the way. Ask about our shopping guide that details great deals each month, or a warehouse floor plan to streamline your shopping experience.

PITCO is your wholesale supplier. You will find that we sell most items by the case. It is important to us that our members can quickly, and easily, find the best value for their needs.

This means you’ll find that we stock top quality brands and maintain a vast collection of merchandise at PITCO FOODS. You will find great deals on regional and national trademarked products, as well as huge value savings on the private label products by PITCO FOODS, “Parade”.

When you see the item you want to purchase, look for a label that is found above or below the item. On the label, you will find the details of the product, its description (size, number of selling units) and price.

A valid Liquor License is required for every purchase of alcohol. Please be prepared to show your Liquor License to purchase these items.

Any time you are not certain about a product, its description, or if it’s the merchandise you want, please ask for help. Our staff is here to support you in several different languages.

You will find a separate department for health and beauty care products, tobacco, as well as a few other items that are not sold in large, or case, quantities. Purchasing these products is simple. You can shop around in this department, make your selections, and have these items rung-up in the department’s check-out and set aside. Then at the front-end checkout, your cashier will add this department’s total to your total selection for purchase, resulting in just one transaction.

You will need your membership card once you’ve finished shopping. Please show the checker your membership card at the front-end checkout. A PITCO staff member will count the number of items you’ve selected for purchase, and the checker will ring up your merchandise. Then, a PITCO Supervisor will verify that the items loaded onto your cart(s) reflect the items for which you were charged.

Once you have paid for your purchase, you will receive an invoice with an attached receipt. There will be a PITCO FOODS associate near the exit; please show this receipt to this person as you leave the warehouse.

 

Verification of Invoice

In order to provide excellent deals on all of our products, we must ensure our customers are receiving an invoice which matches the merchandise they purchased. All member shopping carts on a daily basis are subject to item(s)-in-cart(s)/invoice comparison. Our supervisors check each item on the cart(s) to those detailed as purchased on their invoice.

This procedure is done professionally, and as fast as possible. If your purchase is selected to check for invoice accuracy, please understand that we are enacting this procedure at random, and so to protect all of our members. Your cooperation and patience is sincerely appreciated.

 

Merchandise Returns

All merchandise for return must be in its original packaging, without price markings. No exchange or refund can be issued for an item/case of perishable items. All perishable items, including HBA Frozen items, Deli items, as well as Baby Formula, are final sale (nonrefundable/nonexchangeable). For appliances, or equipment, you have up to 7 days from the purchase date on your receipt from our PITCO FOODS register to return or exchange the item. You may return or exchange any nonperishable grocery or foodservice merchandise, if the purchase date on your receipt from our PITCO FOODS register is within 30 days.

 

Accepted Forms of Payment

PITCO FOODS accepts cash, debit and credit cards (MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover) as payment for merchandise. PITCO can accept checks with prior approval and identification. Please complete a check recognition form, found in reception, so to get authorization to release information about your checking account from your bank to PITCO FOODS. Any check returned to PITCO for insufficient funds will result in a fee.

 

Product & Merchandise Specials

To find merchandise promoted on our monthly ad, look for “as advertised” signs along the aisles. Be prepared for additional savings all over our warehouse—unadvertised manager’s specials, discounts, in addition to the hundreds of daily deals on the items that you need.

 

Security

Please report any incident, lost or stolen, to your membership card promptly. You will need your resale tax certificate to obtain a replacement. No children under the age of 16 are permitted to enter our warehouse without parental supervision. All members are expected to be dressed appropriately for a warehouse setting—this includes shoes and shirt. No smoking is permitted inside our warehouse. PITCO FOODS is not responsible for any merchandise once it has left the physical structure of the warehouse. Please be aware of your personal belongings, PITCO FOODS cannot be responsible for vehicles parked outside or items left inside vehicles.
